A former heavyweight champion boxer  Shannon Briggs  says promoter Shelly Finkel and his associates owe him nearly $725,000 for last fall’s title bout against current world champion  Vitali Klitschko  that left him hospitalized. Briggs, 38, who spent 12 days in a German hospital after losing to Klitschko, says he walked away from the fight with only $25,000. Briggs claims that he was ripped off by his former promoters and business partners and claims his signature was forged on documents. He also got stuck paying for his own hospital expenses, according to the suit filed in the New York County Supreme Court.  Contact Bashian & Papantoniou for your contract negotiations.
