Andreas Papantoniou

Andreas heads the firm’s business department. His general corporate practice spans a broad range of corporate and financial matters across diverse industries. He has represented companies and individuals in banking and finance, venture capital and private equity, software and technology, entertainment, medical and dentistry, cannabis, manufacturing, apparel, restaurants, logistics, distribution and warehousing, and eSports in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, tender offers, intellectual property licensing, startups and initial formations, and other commercial transactions. He also serves as outside counsel to select clients and their boards. Andreas has been recognized by Super Lawyers (2018–2025) and previously as a Rising Star.

A Cornell Law School graduate and International Law Journal member, Andreas practiced for a decade at leading global corporate law firms, advising on multimillion-dollar M&A and complex transactions. Andreas represents clients in strategic acquisitions and general corporate matters, including drafting and negotiating executive employment agreements and general commercial contracts. He has advised international apparel retailers and wholesalers in multiple strategic acquisitions; counseled professionals in medical and dentistry on practice formation, management, and employment agreements (including non-compete and non-solicitation provisions); guided Not-for-Profit organizations through formation and 501(c)(3) applications; and represented clients in fashion and entertainment on contract and intellectual property matters.
