On July 5, 2024, Bashian & Papantoniou, P.C., on behalf of Natures Finest Security, L.L.C., filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic County against Showboat Renaissance LLC (d/b/a The Showboat Hotel), Showboat Renaissance Management LLC, and Think Hospitality Group LLC. The lawsuit seeks to recover unpaid fees, enforce contractual protections, and hold the defendants accountable for unlawful business practices. Our client, Natures Finest Security, L.L.C., alleges that it entered into a Security Services Agreement with Showboat Renaissance LLC on September 23, 2022. Despite our client fulfilling its obligations, the complaint alleges defendants:
- Failed to pay over $327,000 in outstanding invoices for security services rendered.
- Breached the non-solicitation clause by directly hiring Natures Finest’s employees.
- Engaged in employee poaching through Think Hospitality Group, which recruited Natures Finest’s security personnel to circumvent payment obligations.
The lawsuit asserts that Think Hospitality, acting on behalf of Showboat, played an active role in recruiting and hiring Natures Finest employees, effectively allowing Showboat to avoid its contractual responsibilities.
